Chapel Weekend

Chapel Weekend is an annual AdFel event that typically takes place in October or November. It is a weekend dedicated to prayer and placing the fellowship before God. The General and Campus Council Executives are also announced and prayed for during this weekend.
Blue Mountain Hike

Every year on Heroes' Weekend in October, AdFel hosts our annual Blue Mountain Hike. The hike starts on the Saturday night where we hike many miles to the cabins. We then spend the entire day at the cabins on Sunday, in fellowship, games, and a bonfire in the night. Early Monday morning, we hike to the peak to watch the sunrise.

This book is intended to be a compilation of insights into Christianity (that is, being Christ-like), Christian Living (that is, living as Christ lived) and the principles of the Bible. In a broad sense, it was inspired by the many wonderful, spirit-filled discussions we had as a part of Advent Fellowship (aka AdFel) in Jamaica. But in particular, we started to write this edition at one specific point in time: when we studied the 2022 Quarter 3 Sabbath School Lesson: In The Crucible With Christ, written by Gavin Anthony. The insights we gained from studying that lesson lit a fire in our hearts for the word of God and the need to be refined (like the Maverick City song). We sincerely hope that fire will never be extinguished, and will continue until Jesus returns.
